On June 8 at 8AM, join birders at the Utley Hill Preserve in Columbia to discover which birds make homes here and which are simply passing through. Also on June 8, the Atwood Farm on Wormwood Hill in Mansfield will participate in Connecticut Open House Day, from noon to 4PM, by offering a view of 19th century farming for visitors with the blacksmith shop, weavers cottage, ice house, hen house, pig sty, 1833 barn and the grist mill, which will be open Sundays from 1 to 4 until October.
